Introduction
The mission of the Idaho Indian Education Committee is to create the conditions for and support of the efforts of "raising the bar and closing the gap" of academic achievement for Native American Indian children.
The purpose of the Idaho Indian Education Committee is to advocate for Native American Indian children, act as an advisory body to the State Superintendent of Public Instruction, and to serve as a link between the offices of the State Board of Education, Colleges and Universities, State Department of Education, the Native American Indian Tribes, and other advocates of Indian education.
