The Migrant Student Leadership Institute is an opportunity for 50 migrant students from all across Idaho to learn leadership skills, explore college and career options, and build relationships with mentors.
Students will explore their interests, participate in service learning, and get a head start on transitioning from high school to post-secondary success. To apply, students must be in grades 9, 10, or 11, and they must be participating in the Migrant Education Program as of June 7, 2024. Applications for the 2024 Migrant Student Leadership Institute are due April 30, 2024.
The student leadership institute is provided by the Idaho Migrant Education Program in collaboration with HEP & CAMP at the hosting university, GEARUP, Idaho Advanced Opportunities and numerous other Idaho Department of Education programs.
