MTI - Mathematical Thinking for Instruction Spring 2012 Webinars

The MTI Spring 2012 webinars are designed to support school personnel as they implement the concepts and instructional strategies from the Mathematical Thinking for Instruction (MTI) course in the classroom. In addition, the webinars focus on building familiarity and understanding of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS).

During the webinar, you will be able to interact with the instructor and other participants.

Before the webinar, please make sure that your computer is capable of running the software needed to participate. When you register, an email invitation to attend will include information describing minimum computer requirements. In addition, you will be informed how the audio portion of the webinar will be delivered – over the internet or by telephone. If audio is delivered via the internet, you will need speakers and a microphone or a computer-connected headset to participate. If audio is delivered by phone, the email invitation will indicate how to use the conference call service, which is toll free.

Ways to Participate:

Group:
The webinars are designed to be conducted in a group setting, so this is the best way to participate. The group could be grade-level teams, cross grade-level teams, and/or teams from your district. You will need to establish a group leader. He or she will be the contact person who will enroll in the webinar and receive all of the documents and information.

Individual:
You are welcome to participate on your own, but please understand the webinars are designed to be conducted in a group setting.
