Introduction
Innovation and School Choice is the division that creatively assists Idaho school districts and charter schools in finding resourceful ways to serve students. This division is the cornerstone of the State Department of Education.
The division includes five areas: School Choice, Curricular/Materials, Gifted/Talented, Vista/Learn and Serve, Humanities/Fine Arts. The coordinators of these five areas offer resources and inventive opportunities to assist school districts and charter schools in meeting student needs. Support is offered through grants, professional development and technical assistance. We hope that by assisting school districts and charter schools in finding imaginative problem-solving solutions, available resources will be utilized to best meet the needs of all students.
