2014 Post-Legislative Tour

The Idaho State Department of Education is hosting the 2014 Post-Legislative Tour on April 2-10.

Here are the dates, locations, and registration information for the 2014 Post-Legislative Tour:

All Post-Legislative Tour meetings will be held from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. local time. The meetings are open to superintendents, charter school administrators, business managers, and other representatives of school districts and public charter schools.

We encourage participants, where possible, to attend one of the live sessions in the region nearest to them. However, for those districts that are unable to attend in person, we will be live streaming the Region 3 Post-Legislative meeting over Idaho Public Television's Idaho in Session on Tuesday, April 8th. The link to view the live stream will be available at http://idahoptv.org/insession on the day of the meeting. Additionally, the meeting will be archived and posted online for viewing at a later date

In advance of the meeting, we encourage districts to view the "Education Laws and Rules Presentation" video and download the handouts and other materials that will be discussed during the Post-Legislative Tour meetings. It is important that you view the "Education Laws and Rules Presentation" prior to the meeting. We will not discuss the legislation covered in this video during the meeting. The video, handouts, and other materials are posted below.
