Staff Development

Kids on the computer Our State Sponsored staff development for RTI is on-going and takes various forms. The RTI Webinar Series began in the spring of 2009 and continued throughout the 2009-2010 school year. These modules were offered by subject area and correspond to the Strands covered in the guidance document, Response to Intervention-Idaho: Connecting the Pieces, which was released in June 2009. We will utilize webinars from the National Center for Response to Intervention to compliment our training offerings. You can access NCRTI past and future webinars here.

In addition there are hands-on staff development sessions occurring around the state. We have a primary emphasis on district leadership training and bringing existing RTI sites to high levels of implementation integrity. A train-the-trainer model to assist teams in attaining the skills to implement RTI in their districts.
