Public Records Requests

Home / About Us / Communications / Public Records Requests

To make a public records request of the Idaho Department of Education, please fill out and submit a Public Records Request Form. For additional assistance in making a public records request of our office, contact public records custodian Kade Sanders by calling (208) 332-6818 or emailing publicrecords@sde.idaho.gov.

To help private citizens’ gain a full understanding of Idaho’s Public Records Law, the Office of the Attorney General publishes a Public Records Law Manual. The manual illustrates how Idaho’s Public Records Law establishes a basic set of ground rules securing the public’s access to government records, while still preserving an individual’s right to privacy.
