Financial Literacy
In 2023, Idaho passed HB 92, requiring financial literacy for students in grades 9-12. Financial literacy encompasses essential skills and concepts related to finance, aiding individuals in avoiding financial fraud and achieving life goals like education and retirement savings. The foundation of financial literacy supports responsible debt use and personal financial planning. Key components include budget creation, retirement planning, debt management, and tracking personal expenses.
