Educator Registered Apprenticeship Completer
The Educator Registered Apprenticeship Completer Application is for individuals who have completed the requirements through the Educator Registered Apprenticeship Program. The educator will receive a five-year, renewable, Standard Instructional Credential.
Important: Candidates will need to provide official transcripts specific to their related technical instruction and the Idaho State Board approved content assessment results in the educator registered apprenticeship program approved standards to Makayla Murphy, with Idaho Division of Career Technical Education, at makayla.murphy@cte.idaho.gov
Note: Candidates applying for a special education endorsement through the educator registered apprenticeship program will use the Idaho Educator Certification Application, selecting Idaho Educator Preparation Program Graduate. More information can be found on the Initial Certificate for Idaho Graduates webpage, including the application and documentation needed to be considered for certification.
How to Apply
To apply for a Standard Instructional Certificate upon completion of the apprenticeship program, you must submit an application packet with all required documents and fees.

- Completed and signed Educator Registered Apprenticeship Completer Application
- Application fee of $75.00
- Checks and money orders are to be made payable to the Idaho Department of Education
- Credit and debit cards are accepted for walk-in applications only
- Payment is non-refundable
- Cash in the exact amount will be accepted for walk-ins only
- Completed Background Investigation Check (BIC) packet and processing fee
- Certificate of Completion issued by the Idaho Division of Career Technical Education (CTE)
