The Professional Standards Commission (PSC) makes recommendations to the State Board of Education and renders decisions that provide Idaho with competent, qualified, ethical educators dedicated to rigorous standards, pre-K-12 student achievement, and improved professional practice.

The Professional Standards Commission is empowered by law to investigate and determine if a violation of the law or the Idaho Code of Ethics for Professional Educators has occurred.

Educator Ethics

The Professional Standards Commission posts all educator disciplinary orders, voluntary surrender documents, and hearing panel orders for the past five years. Documents from previous years are available and can be accessed by submitting a public records request.
