Keynote Speakers

The 2026 keynote lineup brings powerful voices and real-world perspective to the conversations that matter most for today’s students. The conference opens with What I Wish You Knew: Straight Talk on Youth Mental Health in Idaho, a candid teen panel moderated by Tyler Norris, MDiv and organized by The Shifted Mindset, offering honest insight straight from young people themselves.

Attendees will also hear from national speaker Steven Bollar on building strong school climate and culture, Kim Whitman of Smartphone-Free Childhood US on the impact of cell phones and social media on youth mental health, and Blaine Eckles, PhD from the University of Idaho on effective leadership when in the face of large-scale crises. Together, these sessions ground the conference in practical guidance, timely challenges, and a shared commitment to better supporting Idaho’s students where they are and where they’re headed.
