School Resource Officer Grant Program
School Resource Officers (SROs) are law enforcement professionals who teach, counsel, and protect the school community, building positive relationships while serving as a resource to students, teachers, and administrators to help solve problems. When integrated into school systems, their role extends beyond reducing violence to fostering trust and supporting overall school safety. The Idaho School Resource Officer Grant Program provides funding to local districts and charters to support SRO positions for three years, helping expand these benefits across the state and enhance safe learning environments that contribute to student success.
