Idaho ESEA Consolidated State Plan

Home / About Us / Idaho ESEA Consolidated State Plan

The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) of 1965, as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) requires each state to develop and implement a single, statewide accountability system, the Consolidated State Plan. In consultation with stakeholders, Idaho first developed and submitted its Consolidated State Plan to the U.S. Department of Education in 2017. The plan was approved by the U.S. Department of Education in March 2018.

The Idaho Department of Education continues to improve the accountability and support systems based on the stakeholder feedback and annual evaluation.
