The State Department of Education will be hosting training sessions in September for schools and districts identified for improvement planning for the 2014-2015 school year. The School Improvement Fall Tour will provide a “hands-on” work session moving leadership teams from compliance to quality. This all-day training is designed for School and District Leadership Teams. All Districts with schools in improvement are invited to bring their District Leadership Team (Continuous, Rapid, and Turnaround). Schools Leadership Teams are also invited for those schools identified for Rapid or Turnaround Planning. School Leadership Teams for Schools identified as AMO Continuous or Continuous Improvement need not attend.
Objectives of Fall Tour:
The School Improvement Fall Tour is designed to assist leadership teams. We encourage all district leadership teams to attend, as well as 2-4 members from school leadership teams for those required to submit Rapid or Turnaround Plans. We ask that you assign one person as a contact for this event, and that they handle registration for the entire team.
