21st CCLC Program Competitive Grant Process

The State Department of Education will award approximately 1.7 million for afterschool programs for the 2010-2011 school year. Funding is made possible through a federal allocation to states under the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program Title IVB. Successful applicants receive funding for up to five years. Eligible applicants include school districts, municipalities, community based organizations, faith-based organizations and private corporations.

Letters of Intent to Apply are due December 5, 2009 to:

Bidder's workshops for this competition will be conducted around the State during November. Those planning to apply for funding are strongly encouraged to attend one of the all day workshops listed below. Recommended Participants include: Superintendent/CEO/President, Business/Fiscal Manager, Parents, and Program Director.
