Chef Tuesdays is a new series of Chef Designed recipes for school lunch programs. Three new recipes will be released the first Tuesday of January through May 2013. Each month will feature one of the following USDA Foods: Black Beans, Whole Grain Pasta, Pollock, Canned Cherries, and Frozen Broccoli. Each recipe has been tested in a school kitchen and received positive votes from the majority of the students at the test site. Below you will find a short video featuring Chef Brenda's tips for each recipe and describing students' response to the recipe at the test site. In addition to the recipes, marketing flyers are available to print to help schools market the new recipes to students.

Idaho CNP has ordered another truckload of black beans. The black beans should arrive to the warehouse March 31 and we are hoping to make them available to schools for the April shipment.
