SDE Integrated Professional Development Modules

Through a collaborative effort of SDE staff, ISEE Navigators, district leaders and Discovery Education we have developed the Integrated Professional Development Modules which are available for use by all Idaho school districts. The SDE has worked closely with Discovery Education to develop these training modules for administrators that encompass and integrate the Idaho Core, Next Generation Assessments, and Digital Content, all supported by Data Driven Instructional Practices and the educational ties between them all. Statewide Summer Academy on Mathematics Education

Come and learn from some of Idaho's most effective teachers of mathematics as they share practices and ideas they have used to promote students' understanding and Idaho's Core Standards. Presentations from classroom teachers and regional mathematics specialists will be focused on specific grade level content and pedagogy (K-5, 6-8, and 9-12) in this two day professional development opportunity. Learn new ideas, network with fellow teachers, and hear nationally recognized mathematics educator, Phil Daro speak about practices in action. Wavelength, Inc., will return by popular demand to present a program called "Leaders Who Laugh, Last" on Wednesday, July 30.
