Literacy in Science and History/Social Studies Professional Development: Idaho Core Standards for ELA

This workshop will help teachers integrate Idaho Core Standards into Science and Social Studies classrooms with Discovery Education digital content and research-based instructional strategies that strengthen teaching and learning; enhance educators' knowledge and understanding of the shifts required in instruction and assessment to address the Idaho Core Standards in the Science and Social Studies Classroom; expand educators' ability to effectively develop and implement Idaho Core Standards lessons in Science and Social Studies that provide meaningful opportunities for student-centered learning.

CCSS workshop: Argument in the Idaho Core (CCSS)

This workshop will address the differences between the three text types presented in the CCSS, then focus on argument and creating units, lessons, and performance tasks to address argument in the Idaho Core.
