Idaho Core Coaches

Teacher-leaders across the state of Idaho have devoted a tremendous amount of time and energy towards the shift to the Idaho Core (CCSS) over the past several years. In order to further support these efforts, the State Department of Education commissioned teachers from every region to serve as Idaho Core Coaches focused on the English Language Arts and Literacy standards. The Core Coaches are experienced professional development facilitators in the areas of literacy and the Common Core and seek to foster greater collaboration, unit-building, and expertise in the Idaho Core among teacher-leaders and administrators across each geographic area.
