Through the work of State Superintendent Tom Luna and the Students Come First Technology Task Force and by hosting a Digital Learning Day on February 1, 2012, Idaho strives to build momentum for a wave of innovation that changes policies, shifts attitudes, and supports wide-scale adoption of these promising instructional practices.

All education stakeholders—districts, schools, teachers, students, librarians, parents, and business and community partners—are encouraged to register to support and participate in Digital Learning Day at http://www.digitallearningday.org/

By signing up now, participating schools and teachers will have access to targeted toolkits outlining ideas and ways to plan their Digital Learning Day celebration, as well as updates, informational videos, webinars, and other resources. Then, on Digital Learning Day-Wednesday, February 1, 2012-a national town hall meeting will be held to highlight and celebrate participants across the nation. This town hall meeting can be accessed at the national website.
