Schoolnet Regional Trainings

In the past, the State Department of Education (SDE) has provided professional development opportunities to Idaho System for Educational Excellence (ISEE) Phase II grant districts with on-site trainings and also “on-demand” access to training materials for all Idaho educators. This fall, the SDE will be providing additional opportunities to all school districts throughout the state with regional Schoolnet trainings.

These trainings are tailored specifically for teachers and district leadership to help support data-driven decision making and great instructional practices with the use of Schoolnet as an Instructional Improvement System (IIS). The trainings will focus on use of the following activities within Schoolnet:

  • School and District Data – Access district data with pre-formatted reports such as demographic overview, standardized test performance and benchmark performance, while also having the ability to create custom reports with customized student sets.
  • Classrooms and Assessments Modules – Learn how to create lesson plans aligned to Idaho Core Standards and search for instructional materials to support your classroom efforts. Link your newly created lesson plan to a formative assessment to support individualized instruction.
