Competitive Grant Process

The State Department of Education will award approximately 1.5 million for afterschool programs starting in the 2016-2017 school year. Funding is made possible through a federal allocation to states under the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program Title IVB. Successful applicants receive funding for up to five years. Eligible applicants include school districts, municipalities, community based organizations, faith-based organizations and private corporations.

Additional information about the grant program, letters of intent, and the new online application will be presented during three local Bidder’s Workshops in Coeur d’Alene, Meridian and Pocatello.
