Educators Needed to Review SBAC Digital Library

Smarter Balanced and the state of Idaho are looking for 75 educators who have significant experience in formative assessment and a deep knowledge of the Idaho Core Standards to join Idaho's State Network of Educators and help review professional learning resources for the Smarter Balanced Digital Library.

Educators on the Idaho State Network of Educators will serve terms from September 2013 to September 2014 and will:

  • Receive five (5) web-based trainings
  • Propose and review content for the Library
  • Have early access to the resources and collaboration tools and use them for their professional learning
  • Provide feedback on the resources and the usability of the Library

Applicants must have expertise serving one or more of the following student types: general education, gifted and talented, English language learners, or students with disabilities.

Chosen applicants are eligible for a $1,500 stipend. The application will be posted at Formative Interim web page by May 1, 2013. Applications are due by June 3, 2013.
