button MTI Unit Study

The MTI Unit Study was created to provide an effective and scalable model of follow-up support to those individuals, schools, and districts requesting support following the MTI course. By utilizing the unit study model, which combines aspects of the research from Japanese lesson study, Professional Learning Communities and the Developing Mathematical Thinking project, a framework is provided from which educators can reflect and improve classroom math instruction. The goal of the unit study meeting is to lead district and school leadership teams through the unit study process and to train them on how to effectively lead unit studies within their own schools and districts. For more information and to register, please visit the following website: Link

Please contact your Regional Math Specialist below, if you are interested in conducting a unit study in your school/district.
